Waterways, Biodiversity & Geographical Boundaries (DVD)

Gerald Adelmann, Executive Director of the Openlands Project in Chicago, discusses the importance of preserving and protecting waterways for future generations. Adelmann points out that natural resources, such as rivers and streams, don’t always fall within distinct political boundaries and therefore we must begin to think and act in ways that consider metropolitan ecosystems.
